Fathers & Sons Camping Trip

I'm doing some catch-up on my blogging! We couldn't make it to the fathers & sons outing in our ward so Calvin wanted to take Camden on a camping trip over the summer. The weekend after Coulton was born, Calvin and Camden took a trip with Calvin's dad and brother Mckay while I got a little extra sleep! The boys all had so much fun. Calvin and Camden stopped and got new fishing poles and some gear. They fished in a river near their campsite and caught 2 trout! Here are the boys with their catch.

Grandpa taught the boys about cleaning the fish.

Chef Calvin's gourmet trout.

It was so good, even Mckay and Camden liked it!

It was a short trip, but they had a good time! Camden enjoyed playing with his football...

Drinking orange soda...

Climbing and playing outside...

And even seeing some wildlife right in their camp!

We can't wait until next year when we can plan a longer camping trip and Coulton and I can join the fun! Camden loved it!
