Camden Loves...

POPCORN

DRIVING CARS

PLAYING OUTSIDE

AND GETTING DIRTY!

This morning, Camden and I went to our Stake Pioneer Day celebration. Camden had a lot of fun with this game-the buffalo chip toss. They were made out of some kind of foam and painted brown. When I got home and told Calvin about the game, he told me that they used to play a similar game but with real cow pies! Yuck! We are having a lot of fun with Camden now that he is turning into a little boy and is gaining his own personality and developing likes and dislikes.

Update on other things-Calvin is working hard to prepare for his exams next week. Wish him luck! I'm so proud of him for his dedication and hard work with school and I'm grateful for how much time he still manages to spend with Camden and me. We're excited for him to be done and to have a couple weeks off! It will be nice to get moved in to our own place and then to spend some time with both of our families.

It's Summer Time, Sweet Summer Time

Well, I don't really have anything specific to talk about for the last couple of weeks! I'm just going to put up a few videos that I think the grandparents will enjoy and some pictures of the things we've been doing! Calvin is studying hard to finish strong in his summer classes. The last day of class is this Wednesday and finals begin next Monday and go through Friday. Then we will move into our new apartment! I am so excited to go get all of our stuff out of our storage unit and unpack! We've also ordered some new furniture, which I can't wait to get. So that's the update!

Here is Camden rolling around on the floor, I thought it was entertaining :)
This is Camden at my friend Nayoung's house. He loved the piano.

America The Beautiful

We had a great fourth of July weekend! Calvin had Friday off, so the festivities began on Thursday night with the Durham Bulls baseball game. First we went and got dinner at one of the best BBQ places around, The Q Shack. One of Calvin's professors put the night together, so Camden and I had fun meeting some of the other students in Calvin's class. They definitely loved Camden! All the girls had so much fun playing with Camden, he was the only boy getting any attention! The game was a lot of fun to watch and the fireworks show at the end was awesome!

On Saturday, we went to Falls Lake with some friends from our ward. We made sure to get there early so that we could get a picnic spot. We had a really great time! It was so much fun to spend some time with friends and get to know each other better. We spent time wading, canoeing, cooking, and just talking! I tried to fish a little bit, but I had no idea what I needed and didn't get any bites. Camden loved the water. He also ate a little bit of sand before he decided it really wasn't too tasty. The water was so warm and the scenery was beautiful!

Second Anniversary!

Calvin and I celebrated our second anniversary yesterday! I am so grateful for the most wonderful husband! He is so kind, loving, caring, and just all around amazing! Because our anniversary fell on a Tuesday, we didn't have a lot of time to celebrate, but we did have time to go out to dinner together. Some of our very nice friends watched Camden while we went to the Cheescake Factory. We both had the gigantic burritos and then had the most amazing brownie sundae ever. It was so good! Calvin surprised me with these flowers. I didn't even have to hint! They are the same as the flowers at our wedding and my favorite colors. What a great husband I have!
